The Dominion Clinics team is made up of New Zealand’s industry leading specialists.
Prior to joining Dominion Clinic, Kristin worked as a Cardiac physiologist, in a private health screening clinic in London. Before her time in the United Kingdom she co-ordinated the Auckland Cardiac Rehabilitation clinic, where she managed preventative and cardiac rehabilitation programs as well as training post graduate students.
Kristin holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Science - Cardiac Rehabilitation through the University of Auckland (2006), as well as a Bachelor of Physical Education majoring in exercise prescription which she obtained at Otago University.
Kristin not only enjoys the technical aspect of being an exercise physiologist here at the clinic but she is also vitally interested in the educative parts of the clinic’s procedures and in informing and encouraging clients to implement life-style change particularly in the areas of diet and exercise habits.
Kristin will carry out your cardiac tests, including a resting and exercise ECG.
Katie holds a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise majoring in exercise prescription which she obtained at Massey University in Wellington. Her interest in exercise and the health industry was sparked when she first worked at Wanganui Hospital as a Physiotherapy assistant. Her role there was mostly focused around the rehabilitation of patients who had suffered strokes and after observing the impact that a balanced lifestyle including healthy nutrition choices and the inclusion of regular exercise can have in a person’s life she realised that after many different career choices this is where her passion lay. Prior to joining the Dominion Clinic team Katie worked as a programme director and weight loss consultant in a weight management centre. Katie is currently working towards furthering her education in cardiac physiology.
Katie will carry out your spirometry, vision, hearing and body composition measurements and will assist Kristin in your resting and exercise ECG testing.
